Cory Gunz has the music industry buzzing thanks to his assist on Lil Wayne's latest hit, '6 Foot 7 Foot.' And, although the release of his debut album, 'Son of a Gun,' is still on the horizon, the Bronx native doesn't want to stop letting his fans see what he's up to.

Gunz gave insight into his personal and professional life via his MTV reality show -- also titled 'Son of a Gun.' The show honed in on his struggles with working in the shadow of his father, rapper Peter Gunz, and keeping his lawyer and manager Nick Cannon from going at each other's throats over the direction of his career. Even with the stress brought on by being an open book for the world to see, Gunz wants to give reality TV another shot.

"Son of a Gun' has been a tremendous help. Reality TV is a gift and a curse; it can either help you tremendously or it can finish you," the rapper told the BoomBox. "In our case it worked to our advantage so we're pushing for Season Two. I'mma go with that for the album title as well, it's going to be crazy."

This summer Gunz plans to hit the road with his Young Money family for the second round of the I Am Still Music tour kicking off July 13, and hopes to drop a mixtape before his album, which won't see the light of day until 2012. "Top of next year," he said of the album's drop date. "I got a lot of projects I'm working on."

As for the final episode of 'Son of a Gun,' in which the future of Gunz' business relationship with Cannon seemed unsure, the 21-year-old revealed that there is no bad blood, but when it comes to labels, his loyalty remains with Lil Wayne. "I'm Young Money/Cash Money [but] Nick Cannon is my big bro, that's family."
