Chris Brown Denies Homophobic Comment, Says of Frank Ocean, ‘Love Who U Wanna Love’
In his typically defensive, not-quite-apologetic fashion, Chris Brown has denied making homophobic remarks about fellow singer Frank Ocean, Rap-Up.com reports. Breezy's latest controversy began last week, when he was asked by a reporter in Cannes, France, what he thinks of Ocean. His supposed response: "Man, no homo."
Ocean, of course, made headlines in July for sharing the details of a same-sex relationship, and while this is neither the first time Brown has sparred with the Odd Future crooner nor been accused of making anti-gay comments, he took to Twitter today to deny any wrongdoing.
"My Opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is ......... Love who u wanna love. It's ur decision. People stop searching for BS," he tweeted today.
"Everyone is so quick to point the wrong fingers at each other! Ask urself... Am I Doing everything I can to help the world ????" he wrote in a follow-up post.
Brown ended his Twitter tirade with a bit of social commentary.
"The world is so bent on social acceptance that we've forgotten what makes us special..." he tweeted. "Our individuality! #Imdone #readabookbitch."
