Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino is gearing up for a return to the music world with the release of the video clip for 'Yaphet Kotto.'

The video for 'Yaphet Kotto' is simple, as Childish submerges himself underwater for the duration of the 90-second clip. It starts with the camera zoomed in on Childish's face before panning out to reveal the rest of his body. The song itself finds Childish delivering rhymes with a rapid-fire delivery over a soulful instrumental which features a female's shrill vocals and guitar riffs.

The actor and rapper sounds hungry as he examines the changes in the current rap climate compared to when he was first emerging onto the scene. "Who knew that every rapper with a new crew wanna do s--t on Hulu?"

Childish also uses the song to examine himself and how he is perceived by his peers and by hip-hop fans in general.  The standout line from the song sums things up best: "Young, black, and gifted but he's still in America/ Heard the flow is getting better is he sleeping with Erykah?"

Along with putting out the video for 'Yaphet Kotto,' Childish announced the title for his next project today. Titled 'Because The Internet,' it will be released sometime during "winter break."
