Childish Gambino Set to Release ‘Awaken My Love!’ Album in December?

This has been a stellar year for Donald Glover. High of the success of his critically-acclaimed breakout FX series, Atlanta, he may've just "announced" that he has a new music project ready to drop in December.

Childish Gambino's upcoming album, Awaken My Love! just showed up for pre-order on Amazon Canada, and is listed for a Dec. 2 release date. If this is indeed a new release, it would mark the first music project from the multi-talented actor/rapper/director since 2014's STN MTN and Kauai, which dropped on consecutive days.

While there's been no official announcement for the project, it's fair to assume that he's ready to release something soon. Speaking with Jimmy Fallon about his performances at Pharos, he said he'd been working on new music.

“I have all these songs and I want people to feel like it felt to be in them," he said.
