Apparently, being a famous actor and rapper is not all it's cracked up to be. Childish Gambino (real name Donald Glover) took to Instagram last night (Oct. 14) and posted some troubling notes about his fear and insecurities.

In a series of handwritten notes on Residence Inn Marriott note paper, the 'Heartbeat' rapper writes about his internal fears. Among them are: "I’m afraid of the future," “I’m scared I will never reach my potential," "I'm afraid I hate who I really am" and "I'm scared people will find out what I masturbate to."

Then Gambino makes some astonishing reveals in one note. "I don't wanna rap, I wanted to be on my own," he writes. "I've been sick this year. I've seen a bunch of people die this year. This is the first time I've felt helpless."

In his final notes, Gambino writes about his record label woes. Apparently, his label doesn't want to release his third album, 'Because The Internet,' in December because it's not a holiday album.

This has become problematic for him because he wants fans to hear his project before the year is out.

"I started the record last Christmas. Christmas always made me feel lonely, but it helped me restart the new year," he writes. "I want people to hear this album when everything's closed. When everything slows down and quiet so you can start over."

We don't know what to make of Gambino's rant via quicky notes. The 30-year-old rapper-actor has forged a successful career in television and music. However, his departure from 'Community' to develop his new FX series may have brought on a lot of stress in his life.

We hope that he pulls through because he's such a bright talent.
