Beyonce’s Mother Is ‘Over the Moon’ About Her Pregnancy

Mother-to-be Beyonce has finally opened up about her upcoming pregnancy, saying she's "proud and excited" about finally giving birth.

The 30-year-old 'Single Ladies' singer, who has been extremely secretive about her marriage to husband Jay-Z, finally discussed her feelings about motherhood, while promoting her fashion line, House of Dereon, in London, with her mother, Tina Knowles.

"I am having so much fun, it has been the most fun time now that it has been announced and I don't have to, you know, it was really difficult to conceal, " Beyonce told CNN UK. "But now that I can be proud and excited about it, I'm having so much fun shopping -- it's great!"

Though House of Dereon has yet to to unveil a maternity line, Beyonce, who revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, said that she still has some pieces in her upcoming collection that an be worn by young mothers.

"What I'm wearing today is part of the collection and it's not supposed to be, but it actually is really good for ... maternity," the singer continued, while rocking a sparkling pantsuit. "We do have some things that I am still trying to rock."

While Beyonce remained typically restrained, her mother, Tina, who is awaiting her second grandchild at 57, said that she is beyond thrilled.

"I am so delighted," she told CNN UK. "I'm over the moon."

Beyonce is rumored to be due in February.
