Beyonce Will Reportedly Reunite With Destiny’s Child at Coachella
Tonight is the night! On Saturday night (April 14), Beyoncé is set to grace the Coachella stage in Indio, Calif. Although Queen Bey’s performance is cloaked in secrecy, there is a report that a Destiny’s Child reunion could possibly happen tonight.
An insider told Page Six that Beyonce will indeed reunite with DC-ers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during her performance. “Beyoncé and Destiny’s Child are reuniting,” says the source. “It was teased, rumored, squashed, so nothing much else was said...But it’s happening.”
Reps for Beyonce have been steadfast with their denial of a Destiny’s Child reunion so we’ll have to wait and see.
Beyonce was scheduled to perform at Coachella last year but had to canceled due to her pregnancy with her twins. The insider said that the DC reunion is going to be a surprise to make up for her no-show last year.
“The girls really wanted it and felt they owed it to the fans,” said the source.
It will certainly be a nice gesture if Destiny’s Child reunite at Coachella. This year marks the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The collection boasts the chart-topping hit single, "No, No, No Part 2."
As we previously reported, Beyoncé as enlisted over 100 backup dancers for her performance.
You can watch Beyonce's live performance at 11PM CT at Coachella's official YouTube channel.
