Beyonce Returns, Announces First Shows Since Giving Birth
Beyonce's maternity leave is about to come to an end. As Rolling Stone reports, the singer will return to the stage with a string of May concerts, her first since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter back in January. The three comeback shows are scheduled for May 25, 26 and 27 at a newly opened 5,000-seat venue at the Revel Resorts casino in Atlantic City, N.J.
The R&B superstar's last proper shows came in August, when she undertook a residency at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Those performances became the basis for a DVD released late last year.
No word yet on whether Blue Ivy will make a guest appearance, though she already has one record -- a collaboration with daddy Jay-Z -- to her credit, so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
