Beyonce’s ‘Drunk in Love’ Wins Best R&B Song, Self-Titled LP Wins Best Surround Sound Album at 2015 Grammy Awards
Looks like Beyonce isn't leaving the 2015 Grammy Awards empty handed.
Queen Bey won two golden gramophones before the ceremony's start. She took home a Grammy for Best R&B Song with 'Drunk in Love' featuring Jay Z. Hours after her self-titled album dropped, it was clear that was going to be the song that would be the immediate hit. It was: 'Drunk in Love' peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the catchphrases ("Surfbort") were repeated for months.
'Beyonce' won for Best Surround Sound Album -- a category that includes less recognizable competitors like 'The Division Bell' and 'Mahler: Symphony No. 2 'Resurrection'.' Of course, everyone will be looking at if 'Beyonce' will take home Album of the Year at the end of the night.
