Fans are eagerly awaiting for Ab-Soul to drop his follow up to his 2014 effort These Day but there hasn’t been an official release date hasn’t been announced. With the year almost coming to close, it’s doubtful that Soulo’s new project, tentatively called DWTW, will get a proper release. So what’s up with the delay?

Over the weekend, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith went on his Twitter account to explain the hold up on Ab-Soul’s album. Apparently, the Los Angeles rapper has been slacking on the mixing for the album.

"@abdashsoul & @MixedByAli holding up his album. I'm done takin the blame... they need 2 get da mixes right.. that's the hold up. Get at them," he tweeted to his fans.

Ab-Soul must have gotten the message. On Sunday (Nov. 13), the Black Lip preacher went on his Twitter account to reassure his boss that he's on the case. "Yo [Anthony 'Top Dawg' Tiffith] headed to da stu wit @MixedByAli & @MoosaTDE right now...#DWTW," he tweeted back.

Hopefully, Ab-Soul and Mixed by Ali will get the final mixes done and have the album ready for release by Christmas time.
