21 Savage has had a life-changing year. The Atlanta rapper not only quickly became a sensation on social media, thanks to some hilarious memes, but he even has been co-signed by some major names in the game, including Drake, who he collaborated on "Sneakin" with.

Savage is still going as hard as ever in the studio, and it looks like he may be working on something extra special for his large fan base. The 24-year-old MC released his Savage Mode mixtape earlier this year with Metro Boomin, which saw an overwhelming amount of success, and now the rapper and producer duo may be preparing to drop Savage Mode 2. According to FADER, the pair has been in the studio together ever since they released the first mixtape, and have created around 20-30 songs, which could see the light of day on the second volume.

So far, there is no official word or any details surrounding the potential project, but we know that Savage and Metro won't keep quiet for long. It might be tough to follow in the footsteps of his first volume of Savage Mode, as fans and critics argue that it features some of Boomin's best work to date. While we wait, we can enjoy the sounds of the first tape, and think of some hypothetical guest features for the next project. Are you excited for Savage Mode 2? Do you think it can top the first one?
