It's been three years since Beyonce has released an album -- her third solo studio album, 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' dropped in 2008 -- and as she preps her newest release, the former Destiny's Child leader is getting a little help from the motherland.

The Grammy-winning singer has reportedly flown 200 African male dancers to Los Angeles to appear in her upcoming 'Girl' music video.

According to Sister 2 Sister magazine, the elaborate dance sequence will also include some of the dancer's native moves. A source told the publication that after firing her father as her manager, Beyonce is looking to move in a more independent direction.

"She's interviewed hundreds of people and got a great company together and is doing her own label and some other stuff," said the source. "There's no ill will between Beyonce and her father. She just wants to have her own empire and Jay-Z has nothing to do with her management. It's about her evolution as a woman."

The 29-year-old has been pretty quiet about the album, but denied Internet rumors claiming that she is attempting to create a new genre of music. "Well, I wouldn't say I'm inventing a new genre," she told MTV News. "I'm mixing every type of genre that I love and I'm inspired by every type of genre ... I'm not in a box. It's not R&B. It's not typically pop. It's not rock. It's just everything I love all mixed together in my own little gumbo of music."

Since releasing her first solo album in 2003, the Texas native has transformed herself into a music superstar, selling 75 million records worldwide. Her fourth album is due out in June.
