When West Coast rappers Xzibit and Mack 10 hit the stage for the Kday Krush Groove concert in Universal City, California, Friday (April 16), they both made sure to send a special shoutout to one person: Nate Dogg. Although the two didn't perform together they have each collaborated with Nate in the past and took time out to mention the Long Beach, native who is currently recovering after suffering two strokes.

"I've made a log of money with this man," Mack 10 said amidst the crowd's cheers. "Put your hands in the air for Nate Dogg!" He then launched into one of Nate's many features Snoop Dogg's 'It Ain't No Fun.' Xzibit, who was a surprise guest at the concert, wasted no timing jumping into the Nate assisted 'B---- Please,' before performing some of his other songs including and 'Oh No,' and 'Paparazzi.'

As previously reported since suffering two debilitating strokes, Nate has making slow but steady process. "He's in therapy getting himself together, that's all I can tell people," said his cousin and rapper Warren G in a recent interview. "I see him any and every time I want to. It's hard when you have somebody that got two strokes, usually the person don't make it. But he's strong. He's getting good therapy and he's pulling out of it."

Hosted by Los Angeles radio personality Devi Dev, the Kday Krush Groove concert featured performances from two hip-hop's most prominent Bay Area MCs Too Short and E-40. The show also included appearances from DJ Quick, Bone Thugs -N-Harmony, Chamillionaire, and the legendary Slick Rick.
