Nate DoggG-Funk legend Nate Dogg is recovering well from a series of strokes, according to fellow 'Regulator,' Warren G. The four-time Grammy-nominated California rapper, who laid hooks for everyone from his cousin Snoop Dogg to 50 Cent, was left partially paralyzed and breathing through a tube after suffering his second stroke in September of 2008.

"He's in therapy getting himself together, that's all I can tell people," Warren G said in a recent interview. "I see him any and every time I want to. It's hard when you have somebody that got two strokes, usually the person don't make it. But he's strong. He's getting good therapy and he's pulling out of it."

Though currently relearning basic movements and functions, the Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, is finally able to lift his head, a mark of considerable progress after suffering two strokes. "It's hard when you first have a stroke, you got to learn everything over again," Warren G continued. "It's like you're a baby again. You gotta learn everything."

We hope for the best. The world could always use more Nate Dogg.
