It's almost summer, and that means New York's annual Hot 97 Summer Jam is just around the corner. The lineup for the ever-popular, frequently controversial concert has just been announced and as usual, boasts many of today's biggest hip hop and R&B acts.

According to the announcement, this year's show will feature a little bit of everything. Headlining the night will be crooner Usher, supported by Atlanta rappers Ludacris and Gucci Mane (provided he's released from jail), singer Trey Songz, New Yorkers Juelz Santana, Fabolous and Reflection Eternal, along with newcomers Drake and Nicki Minaj.

The event takes place on June 6, and, in keeping with Summer Jam tradition, will likely feature a slew of special guests. Though he may skip out on this year, Jay-Z in particular has a long history with the event, bringing out Michael Jackson and dissing Nas and Prodigy in 2001, and appearing unannounced, as Young Jeezy's guest, last year.
