'Wolf' has received critical acclaim since its release in early April and any insight into the album's creation always draws attention. Tyler, The Creator sat down with Guerilla Union, the folks behind Rock The Bells festival, and talked about who influenced his latest LP.

"With 'Wolf' I just really just emulated everything I listen to," he said. "I love Tame Impala, I have a song called 'Answer' on there, that beat alone without lyrics is me literally trying to be Tame Impala."

He also said that among others in 1990s R&B, Jade and Faith Evans had a big influence on his tracks 'Awkward' and 'Slater.' Toward the end of the video, the Odd Future frotman wanted to make sure to let fans know he's still a rapper too:

"With 'Rusty,' like the hip-hop heads love that shit," Tyler said. "I made that for them to let the know, like, 'Yo, I can f--king still rap.'"
