Earlier this year, it was reported that the IRS has created a special unit dedicated to tracking the earnings of entertainers, and Miami rapper Trick Daddy is apparently the latest artist to come under investigation.

This was a tough year for the 'Shut Up' rapper, whose Miami home was foreclosed last May, and according to the Detroit News, owes the IRS over $157,000 from as far back as 2002. Due to his outstanding debts, the government reportedly placed several liens against Trick and his wife over the past summer, amounting to $85,366 for money earned from 2007-09, $16,709 for 2006 and $53,979 for unpaid income taxes owed in 2002.

Trick is not alone in his troubles with the IRS, who have busted highly successful artists like Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Wyclef Jean, Method Man, Swizz Beatz, Lil' Kim, Nas and many more over the past couple of years.

Trick recently released his autobiography, 'Magic City: Trials of a Native Son,' and is currently working on his ninth album, 'www.thug.com2.'
