The 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards took place in Miami this year and they let you know--from the first performance. DJ Khaled and T-Pain took the stage to rep for Miami with an assist from a Dade County O.G. in Trick Daddy.

Performing their 2007 hit "I'm So Hood" to an ecstatic and enthusiastic audience, some of the Sunshine State's most highly-regarded hip-hop stars came together to rep for the home team. With Khaled giving props to Uncle Luke--who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award--it was all Florida everythang.

The Awards moved to Miami this year after 10 years in Atlanta.

Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, and Cardi B lead the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2017 with nine nominations. Kendrick and Cardi B are up for MVP of the Year, Single of the Year, Hustler of the Year, and Best Hip-Hop Video.
