Trey Songz has finally addressed his reported feud with fellow singer August Alsina. Following the 'I Luv This' artist's blow up on BET’s '106 & Park' over questions about the beef, the R&B crooner says he doesn’t have a problem with Alsina.

Songz told U.K.’s Capital Xtra he harbors no ill feelings toward Alsina who he understands is growing as an artist.

"We had a discrepancy and he didn’t know how to deal with that," he said. "He hasn’t been in the situation where he has to answer the same question a million times. That’s frustration."

As for Alsina’s remarks about him, the 'Smartphones' singer chalked it up to "pressure" coming from outside the music business.

"He probably said some things he really didn’t mean, out of pressure," he explained. "I really care about him. He got a lot going on in his life outside of music and I know that about him. So, I didn’t feel the need to speak out against him."

"Everything he said about me is whatever," he continued. "I like to see him to do good. I get nothing talking down about [him]."

So there you have it -- there's no feud between Songz and Alsina. Hopefully, this will lead to the guys burying the hatchet for good and creating music together.

Elsewhere in the interview, Trey Songz talks about working with Dr. Dre, his hiatus from music and his upcoming new project titled 'Trigga.'
