Tory Lanez Remixes ‘Magnolia’ Despite Playboi Carti Telling Him Not To

Tory Lanez is known for remixing popular tracks and delivering his own spin on them. Some are hits and others are misses. Recently, the Canadian rapper-singer reworked Playboi Carti’s song “Magnolia” but the sound was a little off.

Apparently, Carti and the song’s producer, Pi’erre Bourne, told Lanez to not remix the song as shown in the tweet below. But Lanez clearly gives no f---s and remixed it anyway. It appears Lanez may have used a facsimile of the “Magnolia” beat he found on YouTube.

So far, reactions to Lanez's remix have been lukewarm, with some people loving the track while others urged Lanez to stop remixing other artists' songs.

"I like "Tory Lanez but he really needs to try and be more creative. All these remixes are boring, he's behaving like he's still underground," tweeted one fan. Another person wrote, "I don't care what people say lol Tory Lanez go hard."
