Playboi Carti recently paid tribute to the ultimate bachelor, late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner who died last week from a cardiac arrest.

On Monday (Oct. 2), the Atlanta rhymer shared a video honoring Hefner whom he called “the original playboy.” The 39-second clip, which is NSFW, features images of nude women, the iconic Playboy bunny logo and Carti himself, whose rap alias was inspired by Hefner.

Carti wasn't the only rapper who paid tribute to Hefner. Hip-hoppers Questlove, Juicy J, B-Real and others saluted the cultural icon. Juicy J thanked Hefner for his fun-filled parties at his Playboy mansion. "RIP Hugh Hefner. I went to so many of his parties at the Playboy mansion it was legendary you will never be forgotten," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Playboi Carti is set to perform at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which takes place in Miami this year. The event will be taped on Saturday (Oct. 6) for an Oct. 10 broadcast at 8 p.m. ET.
