Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert won't be hitting the road together, after all. On Thursday (Oct. 19), Vert made an announcement that he's changing his plans. The day after the 16*29 Tour was announced featuring the two rappers, Vert shared that he's no longer headed on tour with Carti.

"Not going on tour wit carti need 2 focus," Uzi tweeted succinctly. Short and to the point.

This week, Vert's debut album Luv is Rage 2 was officially certified gold. The album dropped August 2017, and his hit single "XO Tour Llif3" went quadruple platinum. The album itself hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart, moving 135,000 units in the first week.

Though he didn't win Best New Hip Hop Artist (Cardi B took home the award), Playboi Carti recently hit the stage at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards to perform "Wokeuplikethis" and "Magnolia."

No word yet on who will be taking Uzi's spot on the tour. You can check out the announced dates below.
