Timbaland, Missy Elliott Debut New Songs at New York’s Highline Stages
As The BoomBox previously reported, rapper Missy Elliott and producer extraordinaire Timbaland are back as hip-hop's dynamic duo, working on new material and performing live.
According to HipHop DX, the cosmic pair debuted new tunes last night at New York's Highline Stages in celebration of Hennessy's White Rabbit campaign. After being introduced by soulstress Erykah Badu, Tim launched into a throwback set featuring "Promiscuous Girl" and "SexyBack" before Missy rushed the stage.
Jumping in the mix to thunderous applause, Missy stepped out in a bedazzled track suit to spit brand new rhymes, one of which quoted Run-D.M.C.'s "Here We Go (Live at the Funhouse)."
