Thundercat Drops in on NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ [WATCH]
If you've never had the extremely fortunate experience of seeing Thundercat live, NPR has helped you out with that. The talented bassist is the latest feature to on their Tiny Desk series.
Earlier this summer, he released his acclaimed project, Drunk, and he performs three of the standout tracks from the album for Tiny Desk— "Lava Lamp," "Friend Zone," "Them Changes." Sporting a bright pink hoodie, that matched his pink hair, Thundercat and his band, Dennis Hamm, Justin Brown and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, are focused and earnest during their performance.
Thundercat has been on the scene for years, gaining more commercial acclaim when he collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on To Pimp A Butterfly.
