As the release date for his first full-length studio album, Trilogy, draws near, Abel Tesfaye the mastermind behind R&B breakout act the Weeknd shares more and more with his ever-eager audience.

At first, Abel was best known for his relationship with fellow Canadian crooner Drake, and he plays to this by releasing the video for "The Zone," a collaboration between the two released last year on his mixtape, Thursday.

This track, along with a number of others from The Weeknd's first three mixtapes, will be repackaged and released, along with several new songs, to form the Trilogy record.

The video was shot in January in Montreal and directed by Abel himself. It features images that are now familiar staples for the Weeknd vibe -- extremely disorienting, close-up shots of a beautiful woman and a smattering of balloons.

Psychedelic colors and shots of Abel and Drake pouring out their hearts in song round out the clip.
