The Cool Kids are officially back with their first song in five years called “Running Man” featuring Maxo Kream.

Over a menacing beat and eerie synths, Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck English spit braggadocios lyrics about how fly they are when it comes to fashion.

"These peasants fresh as me, tell me how?" asks Michael Rocks on his verse. "They still distressing' tees on they couch / Rock band tees and bands they don't know nothin' about / You heard of Iron Maiden once? Bro that don't even count."

Inglish continues the theme on the chorus rapping, Wallaby two tone zones with my fit / Rockin' Iceberg like a snowstorm in here
Like work n----, we won't never lose a step / Watching how we do it then they run off with the s---."

Rap newcomer Maxo Kream delivers some impressive bars as well spitting, “It’s the Bape head band rocker / Pee in corny rapper’s jokers / Actin’ like some boppers tryna top us / N---- stop it / Get chalk lined in them Starters / Trappin’ daily, place your order.”

Overall, the song is a nice teaser as rap fans wait for the Cool Kids to drop their next project, Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe.

Although the album is still a work in progress, Inglish is happy with how the music is sounding on the album. “I’m not going to lie to you, it’s probably some of the hardest s--- we’ve ever done,” he said. “It’s scary, low key. It shows you how much we probably missed working with each other. But we know each other’s ways now.”
