Indie powerhouse Strange Music has reportedly signed former No Limit rapper Young Bleed.

According to KevinNottingham.com, the upstart label, which was founded by revered independent rapper Tech N9ne, and is home to artists like Jay Rock and Brotha Lynch Hung, has added Baton Rough, La. cult hero Young Bleed to its roster, a deal that has been in the works since May.

The 'How Ya Do Dat' rapper, best known for his 1997 album 'My Balls and My Word,' was part of the Southern collective Concentration Camp, but has not released a solo album since his 2007 album, 'Once Upon a Time in America,' which dropped on C-Bo's West Coast Mafia imprint.

Strange Music, based in Kansas City, Mo., released its biggest album recently: Tech N9ne's 'All 6's & 7's,' which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The label is also preparing to drop Jay Rock's long-awaited debut, 'Follow Me Home,' next month.
