Talib Kweli Announces New Album

Talib Kweli released his fifth solo album and first in two years, 'Prisoner of Conscious,' back in May, but already he's looking ahead to the sixth in his catalog. The Brooklyn lyricist announced via KweliClub.com that he'll drop a new LP titled 'Gravitas' on Dec. 15.

Kweli isn't using the usual distribution methods this time, though. Cutting out the middle man and forging a "direct relationship" with his fans, he'll be selling 'Gravitas' directly through his website for $12.00. The album will feature production from Oh No, Q-Tip, Lord Quest, Rich Kidd and more, so that sounds like a deal to us.
