Nas Tax Lien: State of Georgia Files Court Order for $1 Million Over Unpaid Debt
According to TMZ, the state of Georgia has filed a lien against Nas, attempting to collect $1,083,435 for taxes it claims the Queens rapper owes for the years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010. In pursuit of this debt, the Georgia Department of Revenue has obtained a court order requiring Live Nation, who is promoting Nas' co-headlining tour with Lauryn Hill, to garnish Nas' wages until the debt is resolved.
