T.I., Bobby Brown, Ice Cube and More Launch VH1’s ‘Hip Hop Squares’ [VIDEO]
What do you get when you combine hip-hop and tic-tac-toe? VH1’s new game show, Hip Hop Squares.
Executive produced by Ice Cube, Hip Hop Squares is a remix of the classic game show Hollywood Squares. For Cube’s version, two guests compete and answer pop trivia questions with the help of celebrity contestants in neighboring squares. Whoever gets three X’s or O’s in a row wins the game.
Two episodes air tonight (March 13) at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET on VH1. In the show’s first episode, which you can watch a five-minute preview of above, celebrities T.I., Bobby Brown, Kelis, Keri Hilson and others bring the laughs as hunky models Tyson Beckford and Don Benjamin compete for big money.
During the show, the models have a walk-off to see who can sashay down the runway the best. Former supermodel Eva Marcille proved that she can catwalk with the best of them but comedian Tiffany Haddish had the funniest walk, which she calls the “unicorn walk.” Haddish also shows that she's a strong black woman as well (just ask Tyson Beckford).
Over 50 guests will appear on the Hip Hop Squares, including Ice Cube, Nelly, Tyga, Fat Joe, French Montana, Da Brat, T- Pain, Remy Ma, Master P, Cardi B, Yung Joc, Machine Gun Kelly, Safaree, Joe Budden, Dreezy and Wale.
In the end, VH1's Hip Hop Squares is the place to be for fun and games every Monday night. So don't be a square.
