Top Dawg Entertainment artist SZA has secured her first top 10 album of her career. The R&B singer’s debut effort CTRL premiered at No. 3 on Billboard 200 chart.

The collection moved 60,000 equivalent album units last week. Of that total, 25,000 were from traditional album sales and 33,000 were from streaming, and 2,000 were track equivalent units.

This is a big notch on SZA’s belt who previously charted on the Billboard 200 tally with her mixtape Z, which reached No. 39 back in 2014.

In an interview with Vogue, SZA hopes to win a Grammy Award for her project. The 26-year-old singer said that she learned a lot from her recording the album.

“I learned everything the hard way - like, literally everything.” she said. “I know that God does that to people that he has lessons for. I just wish that I had learned less extreme lessons. I wish God would chill the f--- out.”
