Over the past week, the music world has been an eventful one to say the least and there are a slew of great tracks to pick from. We managed to narrow it down to three that stand out above the rest. We present our latest edition of Songs of the Week featuring Bridget Kelly, DJ Mustard and Alicia Keys. Enjoy.

"Act Like That"
Bridget Kelly Featuring Mack WildsBridget Kelly proves she surely has the groove in her system with her latest offering, "Act Like That." Featuring a guest appearance from Mack Wilds, the song is the first release off of the singer's forthcoming EP, Summer 17, and should get Kelly some love from radio as the track sounds destined to be a factor in the months moving forward. The keyboard-driven track finds Kelly calling out a guy for ogling her goods. "And I know you only want me 'cause it's June / If it wasn't for these poom poom shorts, you'd hate my attitude," she sings. Summer 17 can't arrive any sooner.

"Why'd You Call"
DJ Mustard Featuring Ty Dolla $ign & ILOVEMAKONNENDJ Mustard's name may not be at the fever pitch that it was at this time last year, but the hefty producer is far from an afterthought and continues to supply some of the biggest names in music with undeniable trunk rattlers. Fresh off the release of his 10 Summers mixtape, Mustard drops a new single featuring frequent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign and OVO rep ILOVEMAKONNEN. This time, Mustard goes for a heavy electro sound perfect for a festival DJ set. On "Why'd You Call," Ty and Makonnen want to know why their repsective ladies picked up the phone just to "play with my heart."

"28 Thousand Days"
Alicia KeysAlicia Keys has evolved into one of the more bankable stars in R&B and stands as one of its more skillful practitioners. Making an attempt to get back in the thick of things, Keys unleashes her latest single, "28 Thousand Days," which will live on her forthcoming album, due to drop this fall. The eclectic number comes as sort of a curveball from what we'd expect since it's more of a rocking jam compared to her more R&B-friendly vibes. But when you're celebrating life, a big band feel is better. “If you had 28,000 days, who would you love? What would you celebrate?” sings Keys. “I’m telling you that life’s too short to just throw it away / So have the time of your life.” The track hits the spot perfectly and has us salivating for more tunes from Swizz's wifey.
