We all have been here before: You see something on television that outrages you and go on Twitter and voice your opinion in 140 characters or less. If you do this on a normal basis - then you are a “Scott.”

That’s the premises for Saturday Night Live’s music video called “Thank You, Scott!” In the clip, funnyman Louis C.K. plays Scott, an armchair activist who is a social justice Twitter warrior at the comfort of his La-Z-Boy recliner.

Scott is the kind of guy (or gal) who shares Black Lives Matter articles on Facebook while sitting on the toilet, create memes about Kylie Jenner’s awful Pepsi commercial, or tweet out a Martin Luther King, Jr. poem that somehow relates to police brutality.

After the music video aired, folks on “stay woke” Twitter had an epiphany - “We are all Scott”!

"Has anyone out there ever NOT been Scott?!?!" tweeted one user, while another person commented, "Saving the world, one share at a time."

Check out the reactions below.

In the end, we should all get off our collective butts and do some real social change in our community that's not related to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. We are just saying.
