A 20-year-old man flexing his vocal chops while performing during a karaoke night -- most likely to the sounds of lauded singers like Ne-Yo or rapping crooner Drake -- spent some time behind bars after erupting in a violent outburst.

Isaiah Johnson took the stage at a tavern in Sandusky, Ohio to sing a karaoke tune and was met with booing and jeers from the crowd Tuesday night (Dec. 20). As a result, Johnson, who was apparently intoxicated, slammed down the microphone he was holding. Bouncers reportedly tried to have him escorted out of the venue but he refused to leave.

Local authorities then claim Johnson punched three bar patrons in the face. He was subsequently arrested, placed in the county jail and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and underage consumption.

Johnson was released from the county jail Thursday (Dec. 22).
