Shia LaBeouf was arrested last night (Jan. 26) outside of his ongoing live stream anti-Trump performance art protest, He Will Not Divide Us. The actor was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and a harassment violation, CNN reports. He has since been released.

The He Will Not Divide Us anti-Trump protest live stream will be aired all day, for all four years of Trump’s presidency, with protestors invited to say, “he will not divided us” into the camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, New York, repeating the phrase “as many times, and for as long as they wish.”

Already, there have been a few heated moments, including a few days ago when a racist showed up spouting out nonsense about "securing" the white race, to which LeBeouf responded intensely, screaming "he will not divide us" in the dude's face until he left.

Now, the actor has been arrested following a similar incident, in which he shoved a 25 year-old man for telling the camera, "Hitler did nothing wrong." The incident was posted on the official Twitter page of He Will Not Divide Us, followed by another video which said, “Shia was attacked by a Nazi. Shia got arrested. Nazi got away.”

Following the incident, supporters, including Jaden Smith who was there when the live stream launched on the day of the inauguration, began tweeting #FreeShia.

Killer Mike just earlier this week said it's okay knock the s---- out of a Nazi, so in that respect, maybe LaBeouf's reaction was actually tame. Check out the video below.
