Watch ScHoolboy Q Talk About Meeting With Eminem

Back in June, ScHoolboy Q had an opportunity that most hip-hop artists can only dream of: a hangout session in Detroit, with perhaps the city's all-time greatest, Eminem.

ScHoolboy Q, and his TDE crew met up with Slaughterhouse and Em in Detroit as they traded stories and discussed their careers. ScHoolboy himself wanted to make sure that he didn't do what others might do in if they got a chance to talk with Slim Shady.

"We weren't trying to go in there all, 'Oh let me get a verse,'" ScHoolboy Q explained. "We hate when people do that to us, so we actually wanted to go in there and be cool and feel him out and see what was going on before anybody asked for a verse."

Q spoke with MTV about his choice to listen instead of asking for favors. "I sat in there and I didn't say nothing," Q said. "I soaked up game, I didn't want to say too much. I can't go in there running my mouth trying to act like I know everything, that's a dude that done been from nothing to something. I sat there and I just soaked up game."
