Robin Thicke Is Not Engaged to His 20-Year-old Girlfriend

Ladies, don't worry just yet. Robin Thicke didn't put a ring on it.

Contrary to reports, the singer is not engaged to his 20-year-old girlfriend, April Love Geary.

Life & Style Weekly was the first to report the story, claiming the “Blurred Lines” singer popped the question because he didn’t want to “risk losing her.”

But a rep for Thicke told Billboard that the report is “100 percent not true.”

Thicke, who just finalized his divorce from Paula Patton in March, has been dating Geary for less than a year. An engagement right now seems premature since they haven't been together for that long.

Nevertheless, Geary has met Thicke’s family and they are quite fond of her. "She's lovely," the singer’s dad Alan Thicke told E! News. "It's a great time for him. [He has an] album coming out and April is there and supportive."

Last month, Thicke released his new single, the Barry White-esque “Morning Sun," from his forthcoming eighth album.

So for now, the engagement news is a false alarm. We know that Thicke is crazy in love but he’s not that crazy.
