Rich Homie Quan Reaches Settlement with Former Record Label

Rich Homie Quan finally settled his lawsuit with Think It’s A Game Records and its CEO, Fly.

The ongoing battle began late last year when the "My N----" rapper sued the label with the claim that the company was holding out on royalties for albums worth of songs, including his hit tracks, "Type of Way" and "Flex."

However, the label was quick to countersue with their own claim that Quan made money under the table by releasing unauthorized music under their nose.

But now that the two have reached a settlement, it seems that they will be able to move forward in their respective businesses. Quan, for one, will have to find a new record label -- a good position to be in for the 26-year-old rapper.

“I feel like LeBron James, I’m ready and looking forward to ending 2016 with a bang, my fans will not be disappointed,” he said in a press release. "It will be cinematic. Just like a movie."

Quan's manager, and father, also shared similar vibes in his statement. “I feel relieved and I am glad that it came to an end," he said. "I never worried about us settling, because I knew my faith and trust in God would see us through."

The label's CEO also gave a "short and sweet" statement. "We are family! We started together and we are going to finish together. It’s been a long ride, but get ready for Greatness."
