Remy Ma's legal woes have just gotten a little stickier. A New York judge has ruled that the rapper will now face charges for gang assault and witness intimidation. Remy, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, is accused of shooting an acquaintance over money in July, and then trying to intimidate a witness' boyfriend.

Smith was initially charged with shooting her longtime friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, in the stomach for allegedly lifting $2,000 from Smith's purse. The rap diva is already facing 25 years in prison for the shooting and the new charges won't make the situation any brighter.

The 26-year-old rapper is now being accused of arranging for a group of male friends to attack the unnamed man, who suffered a black eye, shattered jaw and broken cheek bone.

The case has been adjourned until January 3, while prosecutors wait for the DNA results on blood found on the clothes Smith was wearing the night of the shooting.
