Raekwon has just dropped his seventh solo album, The Wild, which many critics are already calling his best effort since his classic, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...

The album is his first since 2015's Fly International Luxurious Art, and finds Rae fiercely focused on tracks like the previously released remix featuring Ghostface, "This Is What it Comes To" and and the Lil Wayne assisted, "My Corner."

“Wayne is a charismatic individual and his flows are dumb delightful,” Raekwon told Rolling Stone about the song. “I studied him way back and appreciated the opportunity to trade bars with him. I always heard his voice on this, and I was very pleased hearing him tap dance on a different style of production.”

As for Ghost, Rae said it was all about feeding hungry fans.

“Ghost is my brother, and we’ve been on this blessed journey for a while now,” he said. “Me and Ghost are an institution, and I know the fans were calling for a remix, so this is what it comes to, Ironman Lunch Mix."

The Wild clocks in at a concise 11-tracks, allowing the veteran rapper to do what he does best—deliver vivid, gritty rhymes with charisma.
