Pusha T’s new album DAYTONA is the talk of social media right now, but the Virginia rapper wants everyone to know that Nas’ upcoming project is going to be a highly-talked about banger as well.

During an interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez, King Push revealed a few details about the Queens rapper’s 11th project, which will be produced entirely by Kanye West.

“Nas sounds like 2028 Nas,” he told Martinez. “With Nas particularly, ‘Ye is such a fan that he can pull all the greatest moments in seven songs, and update that energy. He knows how to harness that energy, update that energy beat-wise, and Nas just gets to be him.”

If West can deliver those thrilling beats as he did on DAYTONA, then Nas’ album should sound exciting. It will be interesting to hear what kind of lyrical content Nas is going to bring on the album.

Although Pusha was around Nas during the recording process in Wyoming, they have not collaborated. What’s up with that?

Nas’ long-awaited album is expected to arrive on June 15, which is not that far away. We haven’t received an official title or tracklist as of yet.

Kanye West is also working on his solo project, a joint album with Kid Cudi, Kids See Ghosts (due out June 8) and Teyana Taylor’s second album.
