This week, N.O.R.E. and Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy put an end publicly to what may have been misconstrued as an escalating feud, by addressing their issues on Twitter.

Trouble between the two began when Prodigy -- who was recently released from a three-year jail stint -- detailed a fight with the rapper, also known as Noreaga, in his new autobiography, 'Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy,' and proceeded to call C-N-N rhymer Capone a "snitch" for past transgressions.

N.O.R.E. personally addressed the issues during a visit to New York City's Power 105 radio station in April, saying, "If that was the case then why is it seven Mobb Deep and Capone and Noreaga records that exist? If a dude snitch on my man I ain't hanging with him," Nore added.

On Tuesday (May 10), Prodigy initiated the reconciliation on Twitter. "I dont know why ppl r sayin I beat @noreaga up...ha!" he wrote. "Thats not what my book says and that not what happened. Read b4 u speak. I never said we "WON" or "LOST" in that confrontation either. S--- happened and I told the story. Thats what autobio's r about. Real life.

And after a short, but friendly, reply from Noreaga that simply read "My N---a!!" the two seemed to move past the purported beef once and for all.

Prodigy's new autobiography 'My Infamous Life' has garnered attention for the rapper's detailed and controversial entries on former beefs and potential conquests of female stars such as Lil' Kim and Lindsay Lohan.

The 36-year-old recently completed a three-year sentence for weapons possessions stemming from a 2007 arrest.
