DJ Premier and Royce 5’9” (aka PRhyme) have joined forces once again and released PRhyme 2, the sequel to their 2014 debut effort. The 17-song LP is available for streaming on all digital platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.

The collection boast guest appearances from Dave East, Roc Marciano, Yelawolf, Rapsody, Big B.R.I.T., 2 Chainz, CeeLo Green and more. Much like their previous work, Premier delivers the boom-bap beats and turntable scratching, while Royce spits introspective rhymes and scathing bars at his detractors.

Standout tracks include the haunting "W.O.W. (With Out Warning)" and the head-nodding banger "Loved Ones" where Royce pays homage to the late Prodigy. On the thought-provoking "Everyday Struggle" Royce talks about the state of hip-hop including the generation gap between rap purists and the new school rhymers.

In a recent Billboard interview, Royce revealed that Madlib might contribute tracks on their next project. He also said future albums could move in a number of directions. “Next time it might be David Axelrod, it might be all Prince stuff chopped in the Premier style,” he said.
