PARTYNEXTDOOR must have a lot of music in the stash. On Monday (Sept. 18), the crooner released another loosie for his fans. The soulful “Own Up to Your S---” features PND getting emotional over his ex-girlfriend’s treatment of him.

In his lyrics, PARTY seems to be frustrated that his ex sees him as “the bad guy” and he’s no longer going to stand for it. "I'm going to keep you in my prayers / Even though you still talking down on me," he sings, adding, "Empathy is going to save you again / I let you play the sympathy role too long / Still I see you still holding on too strong to it / Gotta move on from it."

Fans have been speculating that the song is about PARTY's past relationship with Kehlani, as he was at her bedside following her suicide attempt last year. Especially, with lyrics like, “I was the one who called the ambulance and said you was forgiven / Even though that I was the one that was cheated on / Had to watch you tell the story wrong." One can surmise that he's talking about that situation.

Relationship struggles aside, "Own Up to Your S---" is the latest release from PND following a slew of previously release singles, including "Rain" with Wiz Khalifa, “Cartier” with Jadakiss, “Put It On Silent” with Ty Dolla $ign and many others.
