Artist collaborations come a dime a dozen these days but there have been few as rich as De La Soul's run with Nike. The hip-hop trio's two Nike Dunk silhouettes made it back to retailers this year and while the first pair is all but gone from most shops we've still got an entirely new colorway to anticipate.

We were already served with the high top release and the next is the low, which some of you may actually remember as a high but don't let that little bit of background history confuse you. The Nike SB Dunk Low De La Soul is treated in green elephant print and brown suede with a multi-colored heel counter displaying the De La Soul Is Dead cover art. Tan trim finishes off the look by punctuating the sneaker's build perfectly, giving the shoe a very illustrated look.

The Nike SB Dunk Low De La Soul releases on May 16 and at a sticker price of $135, they are more than worth the money. We're as excited about this drop as we are to hear the new album they have on the way.
