Nicki Minaj has been very reclusive since taking a break from social media in December 2017. But TMZ caught the Queens rapper making a mad dash into LAX and was able to ask her about Birdman’s recent proclamation.

The Cash Money Records CEO was in an interview with Ebro on Beats 1 where he complimented Drake on being the biggest rapper in the world. He then added that Nicki Minaj is the “biggest female ever in hip-hop history.”

Although Birdman acknowledges that Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott and Lauryn Hill took hip-hop to another level, he maintains that Nicki Minaj took it even further with fashion and branding. “She’s an icon,” he states. “She’s got it. Hands down.”

When a TMZ cameraman caught Minaj at LAX on Wednesday (April 4), he asked her if she agreed with Birdman's assertion that she's the best female in hip-hop.

Although the 35-year-old rapper didn't say nothing she did give a thumbs up in response while her bodyguard and assistant rushed her into an elevator. We must mentioned that the Queen Barbz was looking very fashionable in all-black with her matching black Gucci slides.

Overall, it's good to see Minaj out and about. Apparently, she's keeping a low profile while she finishes up on her new album.

Meanwhile, in the same Beats 1 interview, Birdman told Ebro that he and Lil Wayne will eventually reunite and settle their legal issues.

"Far as me and shorty [Lil Wayne], I got that. I'mma make sure he straight, we straight, so we can continue doing what we started," he said. "It's important to me that I finish the way I started."

"[Lil Wayne] deserve that from me, and I'mma give that to him," he added.

Let's hope that Birdman and Lil Wayne settle their legal dispute sooner than later.
