Nick Cannon Proclaims Love for Mariah Carey, Lashes Out at Media for False Reports

Nick Cannon is mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore. Amid reports that his marriage to Mariah Carey is kaput, the actor went on Twitter to denounce all the vicious lies and unsubstantiated rumors surrounding the split.

His statements come after E! News is reporting that Carey is starting the "divorce process" and that Cannon wants to bring in a marriage counselor. The 'America's Got Talent host' said that much of what's being reported about his alleged failed marriage is completely made-up.

Cannon reminds the public that he'll always love his wife and the gossip outlets are information "created within their own imagination."

Last month, Cannon allegedly told The Insider that he and Carey are going through a difficult time in their marriage and have been living in separate houses for months. Mariah and Cannon have been married since 2008.
