Monica's past may be coming back to haunt her. Reports have surfaced revealing that the R&B singer's ex-fiance, Rodney "Rocko" Hill," has signed on to appear in the second season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" despite her disapproval.

Rocko, who has two children with Monica, will join the upcoming cast, according to Celeb N' Music, which initially reported the story. VH1 has not confirmed nor denied his casting. The producer-rapper would apparently be featured for his role as an artist in the music industry. He is set to release a new album, One on One, before the end of the year.

The New Life creator is allegedly trying to prevent Rocko from appearing on the show, which could detail their past as a couple. A post to her Twitter account shortly after the news hit the 'net lead critics and fans to believe she had some choice words for her ex, though she hasn't publicly addressed his rumored signing as a cast member.

"Be very careful not to mistake the devil's gifts for blessings," she tweeted. "The devil knows how to grant u with what u want!! God grants u with what u need!! The righteous walk isn't always easy but the end result is everlasting life. Which do u choose ?"

Rocko then posted his own subliminal tweet. "WHATS FOR ME IS FOR ME!!!!! YOU CANT STOP IT!!!!! I STAY PRAYED UP!!!!!"

The former flames were once engaged for close to 10 years. They split in late 2009.
