R&B group Tuxedo - singer Mayer Hawthorne and producer Jake One - are back and they are taking fans on a time warp to the 1980s with their latest release, Tuxedo II. The collection is currently available for streaming on Apple Music (listen below) and Spotify.

The 11-song project is a non-stop party that will remind listeners of that 80s R&B-disco sound that was popular back in the days by such artists as the Gap Band, Cameo, S.O.S. Band, Kashif, Patrice Rushen and The Whispers. While the music is a throwback, it’s joyously upbeat and fresh thanks to Hawthorne's falsetto vocals and Jake One’s production talents.

Highlights include the dance anthem “Fux With the Tux” featuring Snoop Dogg, the sunshiny ballad “Shine,” the touching "Special" and the funky torch song, “July.” Overall, the album is tailor-made for doing the two-step on the dance floor.

Tuxedo will bring their funky, throwback sound on their "2nd Tour Around" excursion. Their 20-city trek begins on May 12 in Santa Cruz, Calif., and winds down on June 24 in San Diego, Calif.
