Maxo Kream Arrested for Felony Counts of Engaging in Organized Criminal Act
Rapper Maxo Kream’s rap career has come to an abrupt halt after his arrest for two felony counts of engaging in an organized criminal act, according to XXLMag.com.
The Houston native is currently in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail in Richmond, Texas, with his bail set for each count at $100,000.
On Friday (Oct. 21), an affiliate of Kream’s jumped on his Twitter account and tweeted for the rapper’s freedom. “Free big bro @MAXOKREAM fucc 12 #1137 #1018,” he wrote.
Kream, whose real name is Emekwanem Ogugua Biosah, was an opening act on Danny Brown’s “The Exhibition” tour, which recently made a stop in the rapper’s hometown of Houston. Upon hearing the news of Kream's incarceration, rappers like Danny Brown have tweeted for the rapper's freedom.
Maxo Kream has been making a name for himself in the rap game. Recently, he dropped a new video for his street banger, "Smoke Break" from his latest mixtape, The Persona Tape. You can also hear Kream on The Cool Kids reunion single, "Running Man."
